Rain Expected in UAE Tomorrow with Temperatures Reaching 48°C in Some Areas
The UAE will see possible rainfall on Sunday as temperatures soar up to 48°C in certain regions.
Residents of the United Arab Emirates should prepare for potential rain on Sunday, August 9, as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts convective cloud formation over parts of the country.
The weather is forecast to be fair to partly cloudy, with convective clouds developing mainly over eastern and internal areas, increasing the likelihood of rainfall. Despite the chance of showers, temperatures are expected to remain elevated, reaching as high as 48°C in some locations. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are predicted to experience maximum temperatures around 46°C, with minimum temperatures near 35°C.
Wind conditions will vary from light to moderate, originating from the southeast to northeast directions. Winds may strengthen to fresh or strong levels at times, particularly where cloud activity is present, potentially causing blowing dust. Wind speeds are anticipated to range between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour, with occasional gusts reaching up to 50 kilometers per hour.
