Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of all specifications and requirements of local governmental authorities & broad technical background related to work.
• To liaise with client, main contractor, authorities for project execution and management
• To lead the sub-contractors, suppliers and supervisors for project execution within the budget, time and quality.
• Ability to manage large scale projects & to tender for new projects, to design and prepare shop drawings and material submittal
• To plan, coordinate, supervise and manage site works.
• In-charge for overseeing all P&D works, Excellent communication and man management skills.
• Attending meetings, coordination with clients and writing reports and progress to General Manager.
• Preparation, checking and follow up of shop drawings for authority’s approval (e.g. DM, DEWA, CIVIL DEFENCE, etc.)
• Ensure the Plumbing work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
• Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the P&D equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant’s design and existing local authority standard.
• Review consultant’s design and specification.
Complete responsibility to decide on day to day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including 1, scheduling of activities, 2, assigning task to groups or individuals, 3, accuracy of work conducted, 4, supplying resources 5, dealing with operational issues and problems.?
