Description:
Wanted Certified Structured Cabling Technician with minimum 2-5 years of experience in Cable laying, labelling, testing, tracing, termination. Proficiency in Copper & Fiber Cabling a must. Preferred candidates will be Male, able to speak English, and with UAE work experience .
Responsibilities:
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Installation of CAT 6 & Fiber Cabling Systems
• Coaxial cable installation and termination
• Tracing, Testing, Termination & Labelling of CAT 6, Fiber Optic and Data cabling
• Perform site surveys and prepare BoQ for Copper & Fiber cabling requirements
• Perform Fluke Testing
• Civil & carpentry works for cabling, such as, digging, trenching, erection of poles, fixing of pipes and conduits, ceiling cutting/closing, etc.
• Daily reporting, preparation of site survey reports & installation reports
Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering
• Structured cabling certification
• Proficiency in MS Office & AutoCad, must be able to study & prepare site drawings and schematics
• Fluent in verbal & written English
• Good communication skills for day-today interaction with clients, managers, suppliers and team members
